O. N. E. Regional Advisory Group Minutes - September 16, 2003 

Attending: Tom Pristow, SRS; Ann Creaven, Health; Rod Weston, OENSU; Kathy Hemmens, NEKHS; Betty LeRoy, NEVAAA, Consumer Rep.; Brian Carroll, NCUHS; Eric Erwin, OENSU; Holly Preston, OCSU; Rick Geisel, Turning Points; and Lew Shattuck, ONECP.

A. The first meeting was Called to Order at 8:31 and the 2nd 12:08. The Minutes of the Sept. 9, meeting were approved.

B. Reviewed Preliminary Budget, Oct. 2 Stakeholder Meeting— Draft 1, bottom line was a $902 deficit and several cost cutting ideas were presented, such as using the culinary arts students for food and asking for a waiver on rental fee from NCUHS, eliminating the insert in the newspapers, etc.

C. AHS Reorganization, (cont’d)

1. Checklist and Schedules for Oct. 2, Stakeholder meeting were reviewed. Categories of attendees such as AHS employees; contract employees; consumers/community members; educators; public officials/law enforcement/ legislators; and staff working in support of meeting were reviewed and approved.

2. Publicity and PR efforts were discussed; recruiting is needed for Discussion Leaders and names of Scribes from AHS agencies; SRS has sent letter to all clients and Health will soon to 1,200; special letter will go to legislators and additional letters to the membership.

D. Scheduled Community Partnership Meetings and Facilitator: Nov. 5, Trevor Colby.

E. Future ONERAG meetings scheduled: Oct. 14, Nov. 11, and Dec. 9.

F. Next Meeting Sept. 25, 12-1, SRS and Agenda: Oct. 2, Stakeholder Meeting.
